Trevor Crowe relieved by news: Ankle X-rays negative, but he'll likely go on DL.

Jul. 20--While the rest of the Aeros were out on the field taking batting practice Wednesday before facing the Altoona Curve at Canal Park, outfielder Trevor Crowe was on a table in the trainer's room, his left ankle heavily wrapped and elevated. Reading a magazine while snacking on a handful of candy, Crowe was in good spirits despite having been up until 4 a.m. Wednesday waiting to undergo X-rays at Akron General Medical Center.

"Overall, I can't help but be disappointed," said Crowe, who injured the ankle sliding into second on a stolen base in the 10th inning of Tuesday's win. "But right now I'm also very relieved. Initially …
