Apollo trio relive moon hop

Whenever retired astronaut Frank Borman sees the moon above hisNew Mexico home, he thinks about that day 20 years ago when he sawEarth from the moon.

"When I see that big fat moon on the horizon, it's difficult tobelieve we were so close to it." Borman said.

On Christmas Eve, 1968, astronauts Borman, James Lovell Jr. andWilliam Anders orbited 70 miles above the moon in the Apollo 8spacecraft and broadcast a message to Earth.
